GP Works is a podcast for and about General Practice from the Irish College of General Practitioners. As part of our work with the ICGP, we produce this podcast on their behalf.

This episodic podcast has been ongoing since before the COVID-19 pandemic and so it is a great time capsule of the different recording techniques that we have implemented over the last 3 years. It features episodes recorded in pop-up studios at in person events, radio interviews, and discussions and roundtables recorded virtually with guests across the country and the world.

Presented by our own Aileen O’Meara and produced in house, GP Works has proved to be a great tool for communicating with the college’s thousands of members. The subject matter ranges from personal stories and anecdotes from experienced GPs to news and updates about topics relevant to the community.
